IN THE YEARS OF BEAUTIFULMAG’S EXISTENCE, WE HAVE MET MANY PHOTOGRAPHERS WHO HAVE MANY DIFFERENT SPECIALTIES AND FIXATIONS. FACES, UNDERWEAR, FULL FRONT NUDES. YOU NAME IT. BUT NEVER DID WE CAME ACROSS ONE THAT HAS A PASSION FOR BELLY BUTTONS. UNTIL NOW.

He uses the pseudonym RoadBlockMan and he is an amateur photographer. But that doesn’t make his material of any less quality of other featured artists here on BeautifulMag. What does make it different though is his subject. He is a 36 years old media professional, lives and work in London and prefers to remains anonymous in his work as a photographer. Like his models. They are the only ones who know how he is, and he is the only one who knows who they are.

With his style RoadBlockMan strives to achieve something tantalizing. That is why his guys always wear something, even though something that something is really something very small. Torsos are always naked, with the goal to focus on what RoadBlockMan refers to as the perfect male physiques. In other words the deep innie navel. THERE IS A TIME DURING THE YEAR WHEN IT IS ALWAYS NICE TO LOOK BACK AT THE THINGS THAT PASSED. THE THINGS THAT GAVE YOU SPECIAL FEELINGS AND EMOTIONS. BEAUTIFUL THINGS. SENSITIVE THINGS. YOU NAME IT. MANY TIMES THIS TIME OF REFLECTION HAPPENS DURING THE END-OF-THE-YEAR FESTIVITY SEASON. WE PREFER TO DO IT IN THE SUMMER.

Last year we took the summer months as an opportunity to bring back some of the best interviews we conducted over the first two years of Beautiful’s existence. For those who are regular visitors, you know we have been in the opportunity to meet many photographers, porn actors and other celebrities, and some of the results of these meetings were all put together in last years Back To Beautiful series. Your reactions to these flashbacks have encouraged us to present you this summer a similar selection of great stories. But in contrary to last year, we did not focus on the interviews, but on the several great cover stories we brought you this year. So sit down and relax while we guide you through some of the most interesting editorials we had on BeautifulMag since February this year. BeautifulMag | Week 30-31

It is July and in our region that means summer. Like last year, this summer we will take a look at some of Beautiful’s finest and the finest beauty’s. We summarized all our cover stories one more time for you and came with a selection of interesting stories and hot photographs. Back To Beautiful 2008 kicks off next weekend.

Summer usually comes with sea and sun. The guys from Exterface added sex to this mix and in the coming two weeks you will find the result of that here on BeautifulMag. And talking about mixing. We will bring you an exclusive interview with the popular DJ Micky Friedman, based in Berlin but known all over the world. Not only thanks to his music and club presence, but also because he is a welcome model, as you will see in the sexy series he shot with Joseph Sinclair.

Somebody else who is definitely an expert when it comes to male models is the acclaimed Brazilian photographer Bauer, the man who has been responsible for many G Magazine successes. BeautifulMag talked to Bauer and you can read all about him, and see some of his best work, next week.

Summer also makes us think of sun-drenched Mediterranean countries, like Italy. Which brings us to our week 30-31 coverstory, featuring the delicious Luigi Scarcella Perino. Luigi is a new kid on the block, and we bet you never heard of him before, but that is soon going to change after this feature, shot by Frank Louis. Yes, no mater what the whether will do, this summer promises to be a very hot one. –B-

TO REACH THIS GOAL HE HAS COME TO BE KNOWN AS AN ART PHOTOGRAPHER WHO USES WHATEVER RESOURCES ARE AVAILABLE AND ON HAND AT THE LOCATION: NO SPECIAL LIGHTING, FILTERS, STUDIOS, GIMMICKS OR PHOTOSHOP TRICKS. FORTUNATELY FOR US, FOR THIS THIRD FASHION EDITORIAL BY RICARDO MUNIZ FOR BEAUTIFULMAG, HE FOUND A VERY NICE AVAILABLE RESOURCE IN THE PERSON OF KENT EDWARDS.

Kent Edwards is a personal trainer who already made his way to the digital pages of BeautifulMag in Ricardo Muñiz most recent series Barrio Beach. Yes he is the hot guy wearing nothing but a red tee. Today he is the one to bring Edwing D'Angelo’s 2008 Love Eclipse line for men to life, in a provocative transformation see through the lens of Ricardo. Being a Latino photographer, Ricardo Muñiz knows personally how difficult it can be for Latino models and artists of color  to make it in this industry. "I’m hoping with continued support we can change this," Ricardo explains his position. "With the numbers of Latinos on the rise here in the US and the industry finally recognizing our buying power, hopefully, we can start portraying more varied roles and, finally, earning something commensurate with our efforts.  We are more than just papichulos."

Ricardo Muñiz is a man with a lot of love for his work and feels honored to be in the position to help young Latinos to realize their artistic visions. Recently his art photography has drawn him more into fashion and he has began to mentor aspiring Latino models and to reach out to designers, stylists and make-up artists of color. If someone can make a transformation happen, for sure it will be Ricardo Muñiz. –B-

WE HAVE SAID IT BEFORE, AND WE WILL SAY IT AGAIN. THE NETHERLANDS HAVE MORE TO OFFER THEN JUST WINDMILLS, TULIPS, CHEESE AND WOODEN SHOES. AND IF THERE IS SOME ONE WHO KNOWS THIS AS NO OTHER, IT IS PHOTOGRAPHER AND MALEMODEL.NL OWNER GERT KIST, WHO HAS PRESENTED US OVER THE PAST YEARS WITH HOLLANDS FINEST.

For several years already, the Dutch website Malemodel.nl has been  an understanding when it comes to glamour, artistic and erotic nude photography of Dutch male models. The high quality website features galleries of hot Dutch twink models, all to be found in the free Glamour Series gallery and more in the Erotic Nude Series galleries for a small fee.
The Netherlands are truly a multi racial and multi national country, so it won’t be a surprise to find hot guys in the several Malemodel.nl galleries in a name variety from Ali, Amir, Giovanni and Humphry to more typical Dutch names as  Klaas, Koen, Joris and Pippijn. But no matter how exotic the name, all men have their own exoticism and eroticism, beautifully presented to us by master photographer Gert Kist.

One of the latest additions to Malemodel.nl and a true flag bearer for the website is Aaron. Believe it or not but this well defined specimen only counts 18 years. At this honorable age, Aaron already works as a full time fitness instructor, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that this young men had a well developed body. A very well developed body we may say. Aaron started weightlifting at the early age of 14, and in weekends he likes to do a bit of kickboxing and win a bodybuilders contest or two. He already works as a doorman in a famous discotheque. Which one we won’t tell you, but The Netherlands aren’t that big, so make your pick. –B-

Raining Man

IT IS JULY AND WE ARE HOPING THAT THIS YEAR THE SUMMER WILL BRING US A BIT MORE SUNSHINE THAN IT HAS BEEN DOING OVER THE PAST FEW YEARS. BUT IF NOT, WE DO HAVE A CONSOLIDATION FOR YOU. BECAUSE IF THERE IS ONE PERSON WHO CAN BRIGHTEN UP ANY RAINY DAY, IT IS FOR SURE AMINE.

Amine is only 19 years but already made – local – fame by winning the title of Mister Paris 2007 – 2008. Yes, besides the national and international titles, many large cities also have their local beauty elections, and that I something we only encourage, because let’s face it, we just can’t get enough of looking at tasteful bodies, can we?

We have come to know Eric Sposito from the French Krystal Studio as one of the most inventive photographers we published over the past months. Think for example about his controversial photo series Baby Scally Alley and My Blueberry Light, and the successful BeautifulMag cover story Juicy Or Not, featuring the very juicy Adrien. Eric Sposito is one of the many photographers featured in Bruno Gmünder's most recent anthology NightVisions and will publish his own book by the end of this year.

As said, Amine got the well deserved title of Mister Paris 2007 – 2008 at the respectable age of 19. More then enough reason for photographer Eric Sposito to use him in one of his highly anticipated creative expressions, in this case a black and white essay named Raining Man. Now if this doesn’t brighten up your day, we don’t know anymore. –B-
